Candace Pruett

Candace Pruett is a Pflugerville-based fine artist and decorative painter with more than two decades of professional experience transforming spaces and canvases alike. Raised amidst the vivid architectural palette and cultural heritage of San Antonio, her aesthetic is deeply informed by the radiant colors of her roots and a lifelong fascination with native Texas flora and fauna.

Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts with a minor in Business from the University of the Incarnate Word, Pruett bridges rigorous studio discipline with an intuitive, symbolic approach to visual storytelling. Her versatile career spans high-end interior decorative painting and custom residential murals—including work seen on the prestigious Tribeza Interiors Tour—to intimate acrylic portraiture, pet portraits, and complex mixed-media compositions that incorporate elements of nature, spiritual symbolism, and sacred geometry.

A dedicated collaborator, Pruett works closely with interior designers, private collectors, and community members to translate nuanced personal visions into striking visual statements. Her fine art has been exhibited regionally, with notable gallery features including the Cloud Tree Gallery Summer Salon, the Mythos exhibition at ArtUs Co, and a solo show at Brentwood Social House. Whether executing large-scale architectural murals or delicate studio paintings, her work consistently celebrates the intersection of natural beauty, local heritage, and human connection.
